1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of AmaVideos, including all content, features, and services available at https://amavideos.co.za ("the Platform").

By accessing or using the Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use AmaVideos. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

Certain content on the Platform is restricted to users 18 years of age or older. Age-restricted content is only accessible to verified registered users.

3. Accounts

To upload videos or interact with content as a creator, you must register for an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and truthful registration information.
• Keep your password confidential and not share it with others.
• Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
• Take responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account.

One person may only maintain one active creator account. Duplicate accounts may be suspended without notice.

4. Content Rules

All content you upload must comply with the following rules:

• Originality — You must own or have the rights to all content you upload, including music, footage, and images used within your videos.
• Accuracy — Do not present false information as factual news or deliberately mislead viewers.
• Age restrictions — Content that is intended for adults only must be marked as age-restricted when uploading.
• Language — Content that includes hate speech, threats, or targeted harassment is not permitted.

5. Prohibited Conduct

The following is strictly prohibited on AmaVideos:

• Content that sexualises minors in any form.
• Content that promotes, incites, or glorifies violence against any person or group.
• Content that constitutes hate speech based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or nationality.
• Uploading content you do not have the rights to (copyright infringement).
• Harassment, stalking, or targeted abuse of any user.
• Spam, scams, phishing, or any deceptive activity.
• Uploading malware, scripts, or any code intended to harm users or the platform.
• Using automated bots or scripts to inflate views, claps, or engagement metrics.
• Attempting to gain unauthorised access to the platform, its systems, or other users' accounts.
• Impersonating another person, brand, or organisation.

6. Your Content and Ownership

You retain ownership of the content you upload. By uploading content to AmaVideos, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, and distribute your content on the Platform for the purpose of operating the service.

This licence ends when you delete your content or close your account, except where your content has been shared by others in ways that require continued storage (such as cached copies).

You are solely responsible for your content and any claims arising from it.

7. Intellectual Property

The AmaVideos name, logo, platform design, and source code are the property of the platform operators and may not be used, copied, or reproduced without written permission.

If you believe your copyright has been infringed by content on the Platform, please contact us with the following information:

• A description of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
• The URL of the infringing content on AmaVideos.
• Your contact information.
• A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the content is not authorised by the copyright owner.

8. Content Removal

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms, without notice. We may also remove content in response to valid legal requests or to protect the safety of users.

Creators may appeal content removal by contacting us at hello@amavideos.co.za within 14 days of removal.

9. Account Termination

We may suspend or permanently terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms, without prior notice or liability.

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon deletion, your content will be removed from public view. Some data may be retained for a limited period for legal and security purposes.

10. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

AmaVideos is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Platform will be available at all times or free from errors.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AmaVideos shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform or its content.

We are not responsible for the content uploaded by creators. Viewer discretion is advised.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of South African courts.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be communicated to registered users by email where possible.

Continued use of AmaVideos after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
